CATE MACKENZIE

Cate Mackenzie is an artist devoted to the expression of Love. She was born and brought up in London and Wales and also lived in Manchester and Hebden Bridge. Since 1993 she has been working with people as a Love Coach all over the UK and in Spain, France, Monacco, Kuwait and Greece to help them to use creativity to open their hearts. Her heart paintings are a visual symbol to support people to believe in Love again and to dare to trust. She plays music and dances while throwing paint so that the heart images capture energy. The idea is that as you look at each painting a sense of love, acceptance and vulnerability is transmitted and the viewer feels better for the experience. Cate has been exhibiting her hearts since 2001 in The Carlyle Gallery, at the National Theatre, Chelsea Arts Club, Christian Louboutin, The Mirror Gallery, Paul and Jo. Her hearts have been featured in Instyle, Harpers Bazaar, House and Garden, Homestyle, The Mail on Sunday, The Independent and Wedding Day Magazine and are being sold worldwide in 72 countries as posters for IKEA. Famous clients include Nina Campbell, Gaby Yorath, Peter York, Claire Goose and Holly Aird.
